Defend the poor

The world likes money. Many people say that the rich people rule this world. When there is a problem between the rich and poor, it seem that the rich wins. So many people will defend the poor.

There are times when a poor person is innocent and the rich person can conquer a poor person. This is not right, it happens sometimes. God has the same heart. He wants justice for the poor people.

Exodus 23:6

 Do not deny justice to your poor people in their lawsuits.

 The New Testament reflects the Old Testament. The follower of the Messiah need to defend the orphans and the widows. They have done a great job but a person have sin in the heart. The follower of the Messiah need to have a clean heart.

The world will dirty the heart. The Bible and the Holy Spirit will clean the heart. There is needed a pure life.

James 1:27

 Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world.

The Messiah defend the hopeless. My heart is right and clean before God. I was without hope but he redeemed my life.

Isaiah 53:4-6

Surely he took up our pain
    and bore our suffering,
yet we considered him punished by God,
    stricken by him, and afflicted.
But he was pierced for our transgressions,
    he was crushed for our iniquities;
the punishment that brought us peace was on him,
    and by his wounds we are healed.
We all, like sheep, have gone astray,
    each of us has turned to our own way;
and the Lord has laid on him
    the iniquity of us all.
