Christ is God but the Jehovah's Witnesses don't believe this. Jesus is God. They believe he is God's first created creature. They deny Christ's deity.
The Bible teaches this. Christ is divine, a part of the Trinity, God himself.
John 1:1
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
Colossians 1:15-19

Colossians 2:9
For in Christ all the fullness of the Deity lives in bodily form,
1 John 5:7-8
7 For there are three that testify: 8 the Spirit, the water and the blood; and the three are in agreement.
