The human soul

Many people talk about the human soul. The Jehovah's Witnesses believe this. A human does not have an immortal soul They teach that the soul is not separate from the body.

The Bible teaches this. People have an eternal, immortal soul.

Genesis 1:26

  Then God said, “Let us make mankind in our image, in our likeness, so that they may rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky, over the livestock and all the wild animals, and over all the creatures that move along the ground.”

 

 

Genesis 5:1

 This is the written account of Adam’s family line.

When God created mankind, he made them in the likeness of God.

Job 32:8

 But it is the spirit  in a person,
    the breath of the Almighty, that gives them understanding.

 

 

Acts 7:59

  While they were stoning him, Stephen prayed, “Lord Jesus, receive my spirit.”
