In a time of depression

I know that every country and people will have time of depression. There are trials in life that will confuse mankind.
When there are difficult times, we will depend on our knowledge. There is always one person that we forget to ask for help.
We forget to ask the Lord for guidance. The Lord has a plan for everyone. We need to be humble and ask the Lord to guide us.
Issac had issues in the land. There were famine in the land. Egypt was the strongest country in the world.
So mankind would go to Egypt for help.
God had a different plan for Issac. He wanted Issac to stay in the land during the time of famine.
We need to trust God in provision. There are times when we doubt but we must rely on the Lord.
The difficult times of life will grow our faith in the greatness of the Lord.
We must turn to the Lord. Jesus lived a perfect life and died on the cross.  He arose from the dead. So we must repent from our sins and follow him.

Genesis 26:1-5

Now there was a famine in the land—besides the previous famine in Abraham’s time—and Isaac went to Abimelek king of the Philistines in Gerar. The Lord appeared to Isaac and said, “Do not go down to Egypt; live in the land where I tell you to live. Stay in this land for a while, and I will be with you and will bless you. For to you and your descendants I will give all these lands and will confirm the oath I swore to your father Abraham. I will make your descendants as numerous as the stars in the sky and will give them all these lands, and through your offspring[a] all nations on earth will be blessed,[b] because Abraham obeyed me and did everything I required of him, keeping my commands, my decrees and my instructions.”
