People try to achieve peace in different approaches. I understand life is difficult so people will drink beer and get drunk. This will not bring peace in a person's life.
People will try to achieve peace in drug use. The drug use is only temporal and there is a empty heart within the drug user.
People will try to achieve peace in entertainment. Entertainment can't bring everlasting peace in the heart.
Jesus will bring peace to the heart. If the person don't have Jesus, then there is no peace.
The sinful nature will destroy the soul. Envy is king in the sinful nature. Envy will hurt every soul. The cure is Jesus.
Mankind is a sinner. We are condemned to hell. We are attacking God in this world. So we need to repent from our sins and follow Jesus. Jesus died on the cross and conquered death. Again, we need repentance to achieve peace in our hearts.
