The Right Hand Man

Prophecy: Jesus would ascend and sit at God's right hand
Old Testament Reference: Psalm 68:18
New Testament Fulfillment: Acts 1:9, 2:32-33; 1 Corinthians 15:3-4; Mark 16:19;
Ephesians 4:8-10

Psalm 68:18

 When you ascended on high,
    you took many captives;
    you received gifts from people,
even from the rebellious—
    that you,  Lord God, might dwell there.

Acts 1:9

 After he said this, he was taken up before their very eyes, and a cloud hid him from their sight.

Acts 2:32-33

 32 God has raised this Jesus to life, and we are all witnesses of it. 33 Exalted to the right hand of God, he has received from the Father the promised Holy Spirit and has poured out what you now see and hear.

1 Corinthians 15:3-4

 For what I received I passed on to you as of first importance: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures,

Mark 16:19

 19 After the Lord Jesus had spoken to them, he was taken up into heaven and he sat at the right hand of God.

Ephesians 4:8-10

 This is why it says:“When he ascended on high, he took many captivesand gave gifts to his people.”(What does “he ascended” mean except that he also descended to the lower, earthly regions? 10 He who descended is the very one who ascended higher than all the heavens, in order to fill the whole universe.)
