The good path

This world have many traps for mankind. People can drink too much alcohol, have premarital sex, and be a slave to pride. God hates these things. A person can avoid the evil of this world.
A person needs to understand that everyone is a sinner. We want to sin because everyone have a sinful nature. The person needs to kill the sinful nature. The cross of Jesus kills the sinful nature so we can follow him.
When a person repents from their sins then they will desire to follow Jesus. The believer can follow the sinful nature or God. When a believer sins then it hurts the relationship with God but they are going to heaven. But the believer will lose awards in heaven.
If you are a believer, God wants to protect you from the sinful nature. He wants the best life for his children.

Proverbs 12:28

 In the way of righteousness there is life;
    along that path is immortality.
