There are dangers for accepting theistic evolution.
If a person accepts theistic evolution then the Biblical interpretation of Jesus' work as myth or allegory.
1)The Bible declares that Jesus was the Creator of all things.
Ephesians 3:9
and to make plain to everyone the administration of this mystery, which for ages past was kept hidden in God, who created all things.
2) Matthew 19:4-5 declares that God created male and female.
Matthew 19:4-5
“Haven’t you read,” he replied, “that at the beginning the Creator ‘made them male and female,’ 5 and said, ‘For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh’?
3) Jesus declares that the writings of Moses was important. Moses wrote the account of creation in historical context and not an allegory.
John 5:46-47
46 If you believed Moses, you would believe me, for he wrote about me. 47 But since you do not believe what he wrote, how are you going to believe what I say?”
4) If Adam was an allegory and is useful for spiritual teaching, then Jesus is an allegory.
5) Jeremiah 32:17 declares that God can do amazing things.
Jeremiah 32:17
“Ah, Sovereign Lord, you have made the heavens and the earth by your great power and outstretched arm. Nothing is too hard for you.
