Love for the people

I believe God loves people. Abraham should have trust God. He lacked faith in God so he had Ishmael.
God perfect will was with Issac.
Abraham loved Ishmael and he wanted Ishmael to be blessed.
God comforted Abraham when God promised that he would blessed Ishmael.
Ishmael wasn't in the line of the Messiah but he was blessed. Ishmael was the father of the Arabs.
If a person don't follow Jesus, Jesus loves that soul. He wants that person to repent from their sins and follow him.
God desire that his will be done. So he had Issac to have fear of the Lord in a home that honored the Lord.
We need to have a fear of the Lord. There is a lack of a healthy fear of the Lord.

Genesis 21:11-13

 

¹¹ The matter distressed Abraham greatly because it concerned his son. ¹² But God said to him, “Do not be so distressed about the boy and your slave woman. Listen to whatever Sarah tells you, because it is through Isaac that your offspring will be reckoned. ¹³ I will make the son of the slave into a nation also, because he is your offspring.”
