We need to have honor

We need to give honor to something. Some people will honor their own good deeds and mankind will praise these people. This is an easy activity to accomplish. 
If a person has a talent then God has given a talent to that person. Many people will refuse to acknowledge God. Some people will use words to give God credit but their lives deny Jesus.
God want to honor him with our words but we need transformed lives.
Abram had many talents. He saved his nephew and he honored the Lord.
The king of Salem was a high priest. He honored the Lord that guided Abram. All the glory belongs to the Lord. Then Abram blessed the Lord by giving ten percent to the Lord.
I believe that all believers of Jesus needs to give ten percent of the earnings to the Lord. Abram did this before the Old Testament laws were given to the Jews, so we need to give ten percent to the Lord.
We need to honor the Lord in our words, actions and money. The Lord owns everything and we don't own anything.

Genesis 14:18-20

 

¹⁸ Then Melchizedek king of Salem brought out bread and wine. He was priest of God Most High, ¹⁹ and he blessed Abram, saying,

“Blessed be Abram by God Most High,
    Creator of heaven and earth.
²⁰ And praise be to God Most High,
    who delivered your enemies into your hand.”

Then Abram gave him a tenth of everything.
