The blood

I think this verse is very interesting. This verse talks about the blood in the animal. I understand that there are four points.

1) The Old Testament law promote that mankind is the ruler of this world but mankind is accountable to God.
2) Mankind  must not be greedy and hasty in eating their food but prepare their food.
3) Mankind needs to treat animals with respect.   Mankind might kill them for their profit, but not torment them for their pleasure.
4)   That during the continuance of the law of sacrifices, in which the blood made atonement for the soul , signifying that the life of the sacrifice was accepted for the life of the sinner.

I think that animals needs to be honored. We need not to abuse the animals because they are weaker than mankind.
I think Bible doesn't want us to drink blood because I don't think it is healthy for mankind. God wants the best for people.
God has the best gift for people. The animal sacrifices in the Old Testament cover one iniquity but the cross of Jesus covers every sinful thoughts.

Genesis 9:4

“But you must not eat meat that has its lifeblood still in it.

Leviticus 17:11

For the life of a creature is in the blood, and I have given it to you to make atonement for yourselves on the altar; it is the blood that makes atonement for one’s life.

Matthew 5:17-18

17 “Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them. 18 For truly I tell you, until heaven and earth disappear, not the smallest letter, not the least stroke of a pen, will by any means disappear from the Law until everything is accomplished.
