The boat trip

I love the history of Noah. The history teaches that man is a sinner. People need to guard themselves from the sinful nature. Every person has a sinful nature.
The history of Noah is good. The people all around the world can be traced back to the people in Noah's Ark.
The history of Noah records that alcohol use. The use of alcohol is not a sin but a person shouldn't get drunk. The weakness of a person will tempt the person. Many people are weak towards alcohol. They have one beer then another beer. This person will get drunk and this person shouldn't drink alcohol. But it is between them and God.
If I am hiking and have a fifty pound backpack then it is dumb. I need a light backpack. Alcohol can be the heavy backpack. Ask the Lord for wisdom in this area. I want to run for Jesus and not be hindered.

Genesis 9:18-21

 

¹⁸ The sons of Noah who came out of the ark were Shem, Ham and Japheth. (Ham was the father of Canaan.) ¹⁹ These were the three sons of Noah, and from them came the people who were scattered over the whole earth.
²⁰ Noah, a man of the soil, proceeded  to plant a vineyard. ²¹ When he drank some of its wine, he became drunk and lay uncovered inside his tent.
