The fossil record

Based on Darwinian evolution, there should be millions of intermediate fossils. When we read the textbooks from the schools, only a few suggested examples of intermediate fossils are given. We don't have abundant list of transitions in the textbooks. The answer is obvious,  they never existed. Most biology textbooks use the horse series as evidence of species evolving. The books have them in a nice sequence from the smallest to largest. The problem with this sequence is that they were not found in this order. They have been found buried in the same layer of strata indicating they lived at the same time.
