Eve lived in perfect place but she loved sin more than God. Iniquity entered in the world so woman will receive pain in pregnancy. Her judgement was on what was most uniquely hers as a woman and a good helper. Her sexual attraction for the man, and his headship over her. It will become intimate aspects of her life in which she experiences trouble and anguish rather than unalloyed joy and blessing. God gave mankind some mercy. Mankind was permitted to life. Life is beautiful.
Genesis 3:16
To the woman he said,
“I will make your pains in childbearing very severe;
with painful labor you will give birth to children.
Your desire will be for your husband,
and he will rule over you.”
Ephesians 5:22
Wives, submit yourselves to your own husbands as you do to the Lord.
