๐Ÿ”ฅ THE RIGHT SIDE OF HISTORY What if being “right” isn’t about being on the winning side of history—but being on Jesus’ side? ✝️๐Ÿ‘‘

There’s a phrase our generation hears all the time:

“Be on the right side of history.” ⏳๐ŸŒŽ

It sounds powerful.

It sounds like a challenge.

It basically says:

“Make sure you stand with what future generations will approve.”

In 2015, President Barack Obama used similar language when he spoke about being on the “right side of history.”

And that raises a bigger question:

๐Ÿค” WHO GETS TO DECIDE WHAT THE “RIGHT SIDE” ACTUALLY IS?

Because history is written by human beings.

Human beings change.

Cultures change.

Opinions change.

Trends change.

Ideas change.

What one generation celebrates, another generation can reject.

So if my definition of right and wrong comes entirely from man's ideas, I have a problem.

Because man's ideas change.

But God's Word doesn't.

๐Ÿ“– Isaiah 40:8 says:

“The grass withers, the flower fades, but the word of our God will stand forever.”

๐Ÿ”ฅ Think about that.

The culture changes.

God's Word stands.

The crowd changes.

God's Word stands.

History changes.

God's Word stands.

✝️ WE DON'T FOLLOW HISTORY.

๐Ÿ‘‘ WE FOLLOW JESUS.

๐Ÿงญ BLOCK 1 — DON'T LET THE CROWD BE YOUR COMPASS

Imagine standing in the middle of a massive crowd. ๐Ÿ‘ฅ๐ŸŒŽ๐Ÿ‘ฅ

Everyone is yelling:

“THIS IS THE WAY!”

So you go that way.

Then the crowd changes its mind.

Now everyone is yelling:

“NO! THIS IS THE WAY!”

So you turn around and follow them again.

That's what happens when our ultimate authority becomes:

๐Ÿ“ฑ Social media

๐Ÿ‘ฅ Public opinion

๐Ÿง  Human wisdom

๐Ÿ“ˆ Trends

๐ŸŒŽ Culture

But the Bible warns us:

๐Ÿ“– Proverbs 14:12 says:

“There is a way that seems right to a man, but its end is the way to death.”

Notice that word:

SEEMS.

Something can seem right.

It can feel right.

It can sound right.

It can be popular.

It can be trending.

It can even be celebrated.

And still be wrong.

๐Ÿšจ Popular doesn't automatically mean true.

๐Ÿšจ Trending doesn't automatically mean holy.

๐Ÿšจ Accepted doesn't automatically mean biblical.

๐Ÿšจ History's approval doesn't automatically mean God's approval.

✝️ BLOCK 2 — JESUS IS THE TRUTH

Jesus didn't say:

“I am one possible opinion.”

Jesus said:

๐Ÿ“– John 14:6:

“I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.”

๐Ÿ”ฅ๐Ÿ”ฅ๐Ÿ”ฅ

That's a massive statement.

Jesus isn't saying:

“Follow whatever culture decides is true.”

He says:

“I AM THE TRUTH.”

Truth isn't ultimately an idea.

Truth is found in a Person.

✝️ JESUS.

And that changes everything.

๐Ÿ“– BLOCK 3 — REVELATION 19: HEAVEN ERUPTS IN WORSHIP

Now let's open Revelation 19.

And this chapter changes everything. ๐Ÿ”ฅ๐Ÿ“–

John sees the final victory of God unfolding before him.

And the first thing we see isn't fear.

It's worship.

๐Ÿ“– REVELATION 19:1

“After this I heard what seemed to be the loud voice of a great multitude in heaven, crying out, ‘Hallelujah! Salvation and glory and power belong to our God.’”

Heaven isn't silent.

It's LOUD. ๐Ÿ”ฅ๐Ÿ™Œ

A massive multitude is worshiping God.

And their message?

HALLELUJAH!

“Praise the Lord!”

Notice what belongs to God:

๐Ÿ™ Salvation

✨ Glory

⚡ Power

Everything belongs to Him.

Not culture.

Not the crowd.

Not the beast.

Not human kingdoms.

๐Ÿ‘‘ GOD HAS THE FINAL AUTHORITY.

⚖️ BLOCK 4 — REVELATION 19:2 — GOD'S JUDGMENT IS TRUE

๐Ÿ“– Revelation 19:2 says:

“For his judgments are true and just…”

That's important.

God doesn't judge according to popularity.

He doesn't judge according to whatever happens to be trending.

He doesn't judge according to human opinion.

HIS JUDGMENTS ARE TRUE AND JUST.

The chapter describes God's judgment against the corrupt system symbolized by the great prostitute.

The message is powerful:

Evil may look powerful for a season, but God sees everything.

And God will ultimately deal with evil.

⚖️๐Ÿ‘‘

๐Ÿ”ฅ BLOCK 5 — REVELATION 19:3 — EVIL DOESN'T GET THE LAST WORD

๐Ÿ“– Revelation 19:3 says:

“Hallelujah! The smoke from her goes up forever and ever.”

Again, heaven cries:

HALLELUJAH!

The point isn't that heaven celebrates suffering.

The point is that heaven celebrates the justice of God and the defeat of evil.

This is important for us.

Evil does not get the final word.

God does.

๐Ÿ™Œ BLOCK 6 — REVELATION 19:4 — GOD IS ON THE THRONE

๐Ÿ“– Revelation 19:4 says:

“And the twenty-four elders and the four living creatures fell down and worshiped God who was seated on the throne…”

Notice where God is:

ON THE THRONE. ๐Ÿ‘‘

The throne isn't empty.

God hasn't lost control.

The universe isn't spinning without purpose.

The 24 elders and four living creatures fall down and worship.

They say:

“Amen. Hallelujah!”

๐Ÿ”ฅ When everything around you feels chaotic, remember:

GOD IS STILL ON THE THRONE.

๐Ÿ™ BLOCK 7 — REVELATION 19:5 — EVERYONE IS INVITED

๐Ÿ“– Revelation 19:5 says:

“Praise our God, all you his servants, you who fear him, small and great.”

Small and great.

That means you don't have to be famous.

You don't need millions of followers.

You don't need a massive platform.

You don't need to be an influencer.

God sees the faithful.

๐Ÿ™Œ The small.

๐Ÿ™Œ The great.

๐Ÿ™Œ The unknown.

๐Ÿ™Œ The famous.

Everyone is called to worship Him.

๐ŸŒŠ BLOCK 8 — REVELATION 19:6 — THE LORD REIGNS

๐Ÿ“– Revelation 19:6 says:

“Hallelujah! For the Lord our God the Almighty reigns.”

Imagine the sound.

Like roaring waters.

Like thunder.

๐ŸŒŠ⚡๐ŸŒŠ⚡๐ŸŒŠ

And the message is:

THE LORD REIGNS!

This is the opposite of fear.

When the world looks out of control, Scripture reminds us:

๐Ÿ‘‘ GOD REIGNS.

Not the beast.

Not Satan.

Not human kingdoms.

GOD REIGNS.

๐Ÿ’ BLOCK 9 — REVELATION 19:7 — THE WEDDING OF THE LAMB

Now everything changes.

๐Ÿ“– Revelation 19:7 says:

“Let us rejoice and exult and give him the glory, for the marriage of the Lamb has come…”

Jesus is called:

THE LAMB. ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘‘

And His people are His bride.

The picture is a wedding.

๐Ÿ’❤️

A celebration.

Joy.

Relationship.

Redemption.

This is where the story is heading for those who belong to Christ.

JESUS IS COMING FOR HIS BRIDE.

And heaven says:

REJOICE! ๐ŸŽ‰๐Ÿ”ฅ

๐Ÿ‘ฐ BLOCK 10 — REVELATION 19:8 — THE BRIDE IS READY

๐Ÿ“– Revelation 19:8 says:

“It was granted her to clothe herself with fine linen, bright and pure…”

And the verse tells us:

“The fine linen is the righteous deeds of the saints.”

Notice:

“It was granted her.”

Even our ability to live for God is ultimately connected to His grace.

We don't stand before God saying:

“Look how awesome I am.”

We stand saying:

“Look what Jesus has done.” ✝️❤️‍๐Ÿ”ฅ

๐Ÿฝ️ BLOCK 11 — REVELATION 19:9 — THE MARRIAGE SUPPER

๐Ÿ“– Revelation 19:9 says:

“Blessed are those who are invited to the marriage supper of the Lamb!”

๐Ÿ”ฅ What an invitation!

THE MARRIAGE SUPPER OF THE LAMB. ๐Ÿฝ️๐Ÿ’๐Ÿ‘‘

The Bible gives us this picture of celebration and fellowship with Christ.

And the word is:

BLESSED.

Christianity isn't ultimately about missing out.

It's about being invited into eternal life with Jesus.

๐Ÿ™ BLOCK 12 — REVELATION 19:10 — WORSHIP GOD

John sees an angel and falls down before him.

But the angel stops him.

๐Ÿ“– Revelation 19:10 says:

“Worship God.”

๐Ÿ”ฅ๐Ÿ”ฅ๐Ÿ”ฅ

That's the message.

Don't worship the messenger.

Worship God.

Don't worship celebrities.

Don't worship influencers.

Don't worship leaders.

Don't worship your favorite personality.

Don't worship culture.

WORSHIP GOD. ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿ‘‘

And then:

“The testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.”

Everything ultimately points toward Jesus.

✝️ JESUS IS THE CENTER.

๐ŸŽ BLOCK 13 — REVELATION 19:11 — JESUS RETURNS

Now comes one of the greatest moments in Scripture.

๐Ÿ“– Revelation 19:11 says:

“Then I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse! The one sitting on it is called Faithful and True…”

๐Ÿ”ฅ๐Ÿ”ฅ๐Ÿ”ฅ

Heaven opens.

A white horse appears.

And Jesus comes.

His name:

FAITHFUL AND TRUE.

Not:

“Popular.”

Not:

“Trending.”

Not:

“Approved by the crowd.”

FAITHFUL AND TRUE.

And Scripture says:

“In righteousness he judges and makes war.”

Jesus isn't returning as a helpless baby in a manger.

He's returning as the righteous King.

๐Ÿ‘‘๐ŸŽ๐Ÿ”ฅ

๐Ÿ”ฅ BLOCK 14 — REVELATION 19:12 — THE KING HAS AUTHORITY

๐Ÿ“– Revelation 19:12 says:

“His eyes are like a flame of fire, and on his head are many diadems…”

Jesus sees everything.

Nothing is hidden from Him.

๐Ÿ”ฅ He knows.

๐Ÿ”ฅ He sees.

๐Ÿ”ฅ He judges perfectly.

The many crowns point to His authority.

There are many rulers in this world.

But Jesus has ultimate authority.

๐Ÿ‘‘ ONE KING ABOVE EVERY KING.

๐Ÿ“– BLOCK 15 — REVELATION 19:13 — THE WORD OF GOD

๐Ÿ“– Revelation 19:13 says:

“The name by which he is called is The Word of God.”

๐Ÿ”ฅ THE WORD OF GOD.

Jesus isn't merely a teacher.

He isn't merely a prophet.

He isn't merely a good example.

He is the eternal Word.

John 1:1 says:

“In the beginning was the Word…”

And Revelation 19 shows the Word coming as the victorious King.

✝️ THE KING IS THE WORD.

๐ŸŽ BLOCK 16 — REVELATION 19:14 — THE ARMIES OF HEAVEN

๐Ÿ“– Revelation 19:14 says:

“And the armies of heaven… were following him on white horses.”

Imagine the scene.

Heaven opens.

Jesus rides out.

And the armies of heaven follow.

๐ŸŽ๐ŸŽ๐ŸŽ๐ŸŽ

But remember:

JESUS IS THE HERO.

The armies follow the King.

The King leads.

The King wins.

๐Ÿ‘‘ THE KING IS THE FOCUS.

⚔️ BLOCK 17 — REVELATION 19:15 — THE WORD OF THE KING

๐Ÿ“– Revelation 19:15 says:

“From his mouth comes a sharp sword with which to strike down the nations…”

The sword comes from His mouth.

The picture points to the authority of Christ's word.

Then it says:

“He will rule them with a rod of iron.”

His rule isn't weak.

His judgment isn't corrupt.

His kingdom isn't based on popularity.

His kingdom is righteous.

The verse also uses the image of the winepress of God's wrath.

This is serious.

God's patience should never be mistaken for God's approval of evil.

๐Ÿ‘‘ BLOCK 18 — REVELATION 19:16 — KING OF KINGS

And now we reach the headline.

๐Ÿ“– Revelation 19:16 says:

“On his robe and on his thigh he has a name written, King of kings and Lord of lords.”

๐Ÿ‘‘๐Ÿ‘‘๐Ÿ‘‘

There it is.

KING OF KINGS.

LORD OF LORDS.

Every earthly king has limits.

Every government has limits.

Every empire has limits.

Every cultural movement has limits.

Every human being has limits.

But Jesus?

NO LIMITS.

๐Ÿ‘‘ HE IS KING.

⚠️ BLOCK 19 — REVELATION 19:17–18 — THE JUDGMENT OF HUMAN POWER

๐Ÿ“– Revelation 19:17 says:

“Then I saw an angel standing in the sun…”

The angel announces a great gathering.

The imagery is intense.

Then verse 18 describes kings, commanders, mighty men, horses, and people of every status.

What's the message?

Human power cannot defeat God.

You can have:

๐Ÿ’ฐ Money.

๐Ÿ‘‘ Authority.

⚔️ Military power.

๐Ÿ“ฑ Influence.

๐Ÿ“ˆ Followers.

๐Ÿ† Status.

But none of those things can make you greater than God.

⚔️ BLOCK 20 — REVELATION 19:19 — THE FINAL REBELLION

๐Ÿ“– Revelation 19:19 says:

“I saw the beast and the kings of the earth with their armies gathered to make war against him who was sitting on the horse…”

Here comes the confrontation.

The beast.

The kings.

The armies.

And Jesus.

⚔️๐ŸŽ๐Ÿ‘‘

Humanity's rebellion gathers against the King.

But this isn't really a battle between equals.

JESUS IS KING.

The rebellion is doomed.

๐Ÿ”ฅ BLOCK 21 — REVELATION 19:20 — THE BEAST IS DEFEATED

๐Ÿ“– Revelation 19:20 says:

“And the beast was captured, and with it the false prophet…”

The beast is captured.

The false prophet is captured.

And Scripture says:

“These two were thrown alive into the lake of fire that burns with sulfur.”

Think about the lesson.

The beast looked powerful.

The false prophet looked convincing.

The system looked unstoppable.

But it wasn't.

THE WRONG SIDE LOST.

๐Ÿ”ฅ๐Ÿ”ฅ๐Ÿ”ฅ

And why?

Because Jesus wins.

⚔️ BLOCK 22 — REVELATION 19:21 — JESUS HAS THE FINAL WORD

๐Ÿ“– Revelation 19:21 says:

“And the rest were slain by the sword that came from the mouth of him who was sitting on the horse.”

And that's how Revelation 19 ends.

The beast doesn't get the final word.

The false prophet doesn't get the final word.

The kings don't get the final word.

The armies don't get the final word.

JESUS DOES. ๐Ÿ‘‘๐Ÿ”ฅ

๐Ÿ“ฑ BLOCK 23 — SO WHAT DOES THIS MEAN FOR US TODAY?

Now bring Revelation 19 into your life.

We're living in a world where everyone wants to tell you what is true.

๐Ÿ“ฑ Your feed tells you.

๐Ÿ‘ฅ Your friends tell you.

๐ŸŽ“ Culture tells you.

๐Ÿ“บ The media tells you.

๐ŸŒŽ Society tells you.

๐Ÿ“ˆ The algorithm tells you.

And sometimes you'll hear:

“Be on the right side of history.”

But Revelation 19 gives us another question:

“Are you following the King?”

Because history isn't God.

Culture isn't God.

The crowd isn't God.

Human wisdom isn't God.

JESUS IS LORD. ✝️๐Ÿ‘‘

๐Ÿง  BLOCK 24 — DON'T LET THE ALGORITHM DISCIPLE YOU

Your phone can show you something 100 times and make you think:

“Everybody believes this!”

But the algorithm isn't God.

๐Ÿ“ฑ Millions of views don't make something true.

❤️ Millions of likes don't make something holy.

๐Ÿ”ฅ Going viral doesn't mean God approves.

๐Ÿ‘ฅ A massive crowd doesn't become the voice of God.

The Bible says:

๐Ÿ“– Romans 12:2:

“Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind.”

Don't just conform.

THINK BIBLICALLY.

Test what you hear.

Open the Bible.

Ask:

“What does God say?” ๐Ÿ“–

๐Ÿฆ BLOCK 25 — WHAT IF THEY SAY YOU'RE ON THE WRONG SIDE?

Maybe someone tells you:

“You're on the wrong side of history.”

Maybe they laugh.

Maybe they criticize you.

Maybe they unfollow you.

Maybe they call your faith outdated.

Don't panic.

Your goal isn't to impress history.

Your goal is to faithfully follow Jesus.

๐Ÿ“– Acts 5:29 says:

“We must obey God rather than men.”

That's courage.

๐Ÿฆ

Not arrogance.

Not hatred.

Not looking down on people.

FAITHFULNESS.

❤️ BLOCK 26 — FOLLOW JESUS AND LOVE PEOPLE

Being on Jesus' side doesn't mean hating people who disagree with you.

Jesus commanded us to love.

๐Ÿ“– Matthew 22:39 says:

“You shall love your neighbor as yourself.”

And Jesus went even further:

๐Ÿ“– Matthew 5:44 says:

“Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you.”

That's radically different.

The world says:

“Destroy your enemies.”

Jesus says:

“Love them.” ❤️

The world says:

“Get even.”

Jesus says:

“Forgive.” ๐Ÿค

The world says:

“Prove you're better.”

Jesus says:

“Humble yourself.” ๐Ÿ™

Following Jesus means standing for truth and loving people.

๐ŸŒŽ BLOCK 27 — WHAT SIDE ARE YOU REALLY ON?

So here's the question.

Not:

“What will history say about me?”

Not:

“Will everyone approve of me?”

Not:

“What's trending?”

Not:

“What does the crowd believe?”

But:

“AM I FOLLOWING JESUS?” ✝️

Because there will always be another trend.

Another movement.

Another opinion.

Another cultural moment.

Another definition of what is “right.”

But Jesus remains.

๐Ÿ“– Matthew 24:35 says:

“Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will not pass away.”

๐Ÿ”ฅ๐Ÿ”ฅ๐Ÿ”ฅ

That's your foundation.

๐Ÿ‘‘ BLOCK 28 — JESUS IS LORD OVER HISTORY

History isn't sitting on the throne.

JESUS IS. ๐Ÿ‘‘

History doesn't determine truth.

JESUS IS TRUTH. ✝️

History doesn't save us.

JESUS SAVES. ❤️

History doesn't give us eternal hope.

JESUS GIVES US HOPE. ๐ŸŒ…

And Revelation 19 gives us the ultimate picture:

FAITHFUL AND TRUE.

THE WORD OF GOD.

KING OF KINGS.

LORD OF LORDS.

๐ŸŒ… BLOCK 29 — THIS IS OUR HOPE

Maybe you're looking at the world right now and thinking:

“What is happening?”

Maybe everything feels upside down.

Maybe you're you're afraid of the future.

Maybe you're wondering who will win.

Revelation 19 gives you the answer:

JESUS WILL WIN. ๐Ÿ‘‘๐Ÿ”ฅ

And that's why we can have hope.

๐Ÿ“– Romans 15:13 says:

“May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope.”

❤️‍๐Ÿ”ฅ ABOUND IN HOPE.

Not fear.

Hope.

Not panic.

Hope.

Not despair.

Hope.

JESUS IS OUR HOPE. ๐ŸŒ…✝️

๐Ÿ”ฅ THE FINAL WORD

Maybe the world will tell you:

“Be on the right side of history.”

But here's what I want to say:

Don't make history your god.

Don't make culture your compass.

Don't make popularity your standard.

Don't make human wisdom your foundation.

MAKE JESUS YOUR LORD. ๐Ÿ‘‘✝️

Because the question isn't ultimately:

“What side of history are you on?”

The real question is:

“WHAT SIDE OF ETERNITY ARE YOU ON?” ⏳๐ŸŒŽ

And there is one King.

One Savior.

One Lord.

One Truth.

JESUS CHRIST. ✝️๐Ÿ‘‘๐Ÿ”ฅ

๐Ÿ“– Revelation 19:16:

“KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS.”

So don't chase the crowd. ๐Ÿ‘ฅ

Don't worship the culture. ๐ŸŒŽ

Don't let the algorithm disciple you. ๐Ÿ“ฑ

Don't fear the future. ๐Ÿ˜จ

Open your Bible. ๐Ÿ“–

Follow Jesus. ✝️

Love people. ❤️

Stand for truth. ๐Ÿฆ

Walk humbly. ๐Ÿ™

And hope in Christ. ๐ŸŒ…

Because when every trend is gone…

When every headline is forgotten…

When every argument has ended…

When every human kingdom has passed away…

๐Ÿ‘‘ JESUS WILL STILL BE KING.

✝️ JESUS IS THE RIGHT SIDE.

๐Ÿ”ฅ JESUS IS THE TRUTH.

❤️ JESUS IS OUR HOPE.

๐Ÿ‘‘ JESUS IS LORD OVER HISTORY.

And that's the side I want to be on.
