Revelation 5 opens and it’s immediately stressful ๐ญ
There’s a scroll ๐ in God’s hand ✋—sealed up tight ๐. This scroll represents God’s plan for the future, justice, healing, all of it. And guess what?
No one can open it.
Not angels ๐
Not kings ๐
Not influencers, leaders, or “good people” ๐
♂️
John starts crying ๐ข because if the scroll stays closed, then evil wins and hope stalls.
Honestly… relatable.
๐ The world feels broken
๐ People are hurting
๐คท♀️ Systems fail
๐ Prayers feel unanswered
Then—plot twist ๐ฅ
An elder says, “Stop crying.”
There is someone worthy.
The Lion of Judah ๐ฆ๐ฅ
Strong. Powerful. Victorious.
But when John looks… he doesn’t see a lion.
He sees a Lamb ๐
Slain ๐
But standing ๐ช
This is peak Revelation energy.
Jesus wins not by force ⚔️
But by sacrifice ✝️
Not by domination
But by love ❤️
Greg Laurie-style teaching always zooms in here:
The whole Bible points to Jesus, and Revelation 5 proves it.
The Lamb steps forward ๐➡️๐
Takes the scroll
And heaven absolutely loses it ๐ถ๐๐ฅ
Worship explodes ๐ฅ
Angels sing ๐ค๐
Elders fall down ๐♂️
All creation joins in ๐✨
Why?
Because Jesus is worthy ๐
Worthy because He was slain ✝️
Worthy because He redeemed people from every nation ๐๐ค
Worthy because He turned pain into purpose ๐
And here’s the comfort level-up ⬆️
๐ History isn’t random
๐ The future isn’t chaotic
๐ Heaven is not stressed
The Lamb is in control ๐๐
So when life feels overwhelming ๐ต๐ซ
When the news is loud ๐ข
When your heart feels tired ๐ญ
Revelation 5 whispers (okay, sings ๐ถ):
Jesus holds the scroll.
Jesus holds the future.
Jesus holds you ๐ค✋
No fear.
No panic.
Just worship ๐✨
