Faith isn’t wishful thinking 🤞 or manifesting good energy 🌙. Biblically, faith is certainty rooted in who God is 🙌.
Ephesians 6:16 calls faith a shield 🛡️ — not an accessory, not aesthetic, but survival gear. A shield is built to take hits 💥. The shield of faith isn’t about avoiding evil 😈, it’s about standing your ground when it shows up. Faith is divine assurance 💯, not spiritual guesswork.
So… what is faith actually? 👀
Hebrews 11:1 lays it out clearly 📖✨:
Faith is assurance and conviction — confidence in what God promised, even when you can’t see it yet 🌫️➡️🌅. Faith is a living channel of trust flowing from us to God 🔄❤️. It’s relational, not just informational.
And here’s where people get tripped up 🚨👇
Faith isn’t just knowing facts about God 🧠. James 2:19 says even demons believe God exists 😬 — and that’s not saving faith. Head knowledge alone isn’t it.
Real faith moves 🏃♂️🔥. It leads to repentance 💔➡️❤️, turning from sin, and actually following Jesus 👣✝️. Faith changes how you live, not just what you agree with. When faith is real, it shows up in your choices, your priorities, and your identity 🧭✨.
Faith means trusting Jesus enough to let go 🎯. Enough to obey when it’s uncomfortable 😤➡️🙏. Enough to let Him transform you from the inside out 🦋💫.
Faith isn’t fragile ❌.
Faith isn’t passive ❌.
Faith isn’t blind optimism ❌.
Faith is resilient trust in a faithful God 🛡️🔥 — and once it’s real, it changes everything. 💥🙌
