The pledge

We don't know the future but the Lord knows the future. Rebekah was working her job and God gave her husband. Abraham's servant was lead to meet her. We need to submit our wills to the Lord, and God's plan is better.
Rebekah received many presents from her future husband. The man needs to honor his wife with gifts and love.
Marriage represent the marriage between Jesus and the church. Jesus was in heaven and he loved the church. But mankind is a sinner. So Christ came to this world as a man and lived a perfect life.
He is God and became flesh. He died on the cross and arose from the dead.
If a person repents from their sins and follow the Lord. Then that person will become a follower of Jesus.
Jesus desires an relationship with man. He offered his own body as a sacrifice, so we can be clean before the Father God.
Woman can reject a man or accept a man. The sad news is that people reject Jesus and choice hell.
If a person is a sinner and not perfect, that person is going to hell.

Genesis 24:28-34

28 The young woman ran and told her mother’s household about these things. 29 Now Rebekah had a brother named Laban, and he hurried out to the man at the spring. 30 As soon as he had seen the nose ring, and the bracelets on his sister’s arms, and had heard Rebekah tell what the man said to her, he went out to the man and found him standing by the camels near the spring. 31 “Come, you who are blessed by the Lord,” he said. “Why are you standing out here? I have prepared the house and a place for the camels.”
32 So the man went to the house, and the camels were unloaded. Straw and fodder were brought for the camels, and water for him and his men to wash their feet. 33 Then food was set before him, but he said, “I will not eat until I have told you what I have to say.”
“Then tell us,” Laban said.
34 So he said, “I am Abraham’s servant.
