The debate

God was talking to Abram and he proved that he was God. Mankind have limits but God has no limits.
We need to believe God and walk in trust. Do you have an impossible thing, then you need to trust God.
Abram was promised a child with his wife. God changed Abram's wife name from Sarai to Sarah.
Sarah will become mother of nations. She will have her first child while she was ninety years old.
Abram laughed and God had to talked to Abram. God was increasing the faith of Abram.
God increases the faith of his followers. There are times we doubt but helps us in our weakness.
We need to focus on the plan of God and not our plans.
God wanted Ishmael to be in the line of the Messiah. God wanted Issac in the line of the Messiah. We need to conform to the will of the Lord.
We need to repent from our sins and follow Jesus. Jesus died on the cross so we can experience the Father God. Then the Holy Spirit will indwell in the believers. The Spirit changes the human heart.

Genesis 17:15-18

 

¹⁵ God also said to Abraham, “As for Sarai your wife, you are no longer to call her Sarai; her name will be Sarah. ¹⁶ I will bless her and will surely give you a son by her. I will bless her so that she will be the mother of nations; kings of peoples will come from her.”
¹⁷ Abraham fell facedown; he laughed and said to himself, “Will a son be born to a man a hundred years old? Will Sarah bear a child at the age of ninety?” ¹⁸ And Abraham said to God, “If only Ishmael might live under your blessing!”
