The practice of witchcraft was popular in Israel because people did evil.
God desired purity in Israel so he created a law for purity in this area. Many people say this, God is not nice.
He doesn't want to punish people but people sin. We need to repent from our sins. But many times people will refuse to repent from their sins.
The follower of Jesus need to avoid sin. I allow sin in my life so I need to repent everyday. The sin of witchcraft was in Israel and God wanted purity. Sin leads Satan to control the life of person. Witchcraft leads people to Satan and not God.
Do you compromise in your life? What sin is in your life? You follow Jesus then repent and follow Jesus.
If you are not a follower of Jesus, then you need to repent from darkness and follow the Bible and Jesus.
Sin will lead to death and hell and God desires to give you life.
