The greatest honor

Many people work hard and they achieve many good goals. The world system will spend the money. The money on themselves. The follower of Jesus needs to honor the Lord. They need to give their money to the Lord. The believer need to realize this. Every possession is the Lord and we are renting it until we die.

There is a Old Testament that describes giving in the land of Israel. The law explains this. The Lord is the owner of all, so the people of Israel need to give the best. When a person give to the Lord, the principle of giving is love. This law should demonstrate the love in heart. Many times, people do religious practice without love. It has been a problem in the Jewish culture.

Christ died for ours sins. He died for the Jewish person. God desire the heart of mankind. God desire the heart of mankind then mankind can give to God. God feels honor when a person gives to him after they accept Jesus as Lord and Savior.

If you have not accepted Jesus then you need to surrender your life. You need to live for Jesus. Then you can give to God.

If you are a follower of Jesus. You need to honor the Lord with all your possessions. You need to give the best to the Lord.

Exodus 22:29-30

 

²⁹ “Do not hold back offerings from your granaries or your vats.
“You must give me the firstborn of your sons. ³⁰ Do the same with your cattle and your sheep. Let them stay with their mothers for seven days, but give them to me on the eighth day.
