Revelation 5 opens and it’s immediately stressful 😭
There’s a scroll 📜 in God’s hand ✋—sealed up tight 🔒. This scroll represents God’s plan for the future, justice, healing, all of it. And guess what?
No one can open it.
Not angels 😇
Not kings 👑
Not influencers, leaders, or “good people” 🙅♂️
John starts crying 😢 because if the scroll stays closed, then evil wins and hope stalls.
Honestly… relatable.
🌍 The world feels broken
💔 People are hurting
🤷♀️ Systems fail
🙏 Prayers feel unanswered
Then—plot twist 💥
An elder says, “Stop crying.”
There is someone worthy.
The Lion of Judah 🦁🔥
Strong. Powerful. Victorious.
But when John looks… he doesn’t see a lion.
He sees a Lamb 🐑
Slain 💔
But standing 💪
This is peak Revelation energy.
Jesus wins not by force ⚔️
But by sacrifice ✝️
Not by domination
But by love ❤️
Greg Laurie-style teaching always zooms in here:
The whole Bible points to Jesus, and Revelation 5 proves it.
The Lamb steps forward 🐑➡️📜
Takes the scroll
And heaven absolutely loses it 🎶🙌🔥
Worship explodes 💥
Angels sing 🎤😇
Elders fall down 🙇♂️
All creation joins in 🌎✨
Why?
Because Jesus is worthy 👑
Worthy because He was slain ✝️
Worthy because He redeemed people from every nation 🌍🤍
Worthy because He turned pain into purpose 🔄
And here’s the comfort level-up ⬆️
📌 History isn’t random
📌 The future isn’t chaotic
📌 Heaven is not stressed
The Lamb is in control 🐑👑
So when life feels overwhelming 😵💫
When the news is loud 📢
When your heart feels tired 💭
Revelation 5 whispers (okay, sings 🎶):
Jesus holds the scroll.
Jesus holds the future.
Jesus holds you 🤍✋
No fear.
No panic.
Just worship 🙌✨
