Let’s keep it real for a sec…
A lot of people think faith works like a debate stage. Like if you just say the perfect argument, drop enough facts, win enough discussions—boom 💥 someone believes in Jesus.
But the Bible doesn’t really show it working like that.
🗣️ “Be ready… but be gentle”
📖 1 Peter 3:15–16 basically says:
Be ready to explain your faith, yeah—but do it with gentleness + respect.
Not pressure. Not ego. Not “gotcha” arguments 😤
More like truth with love.
Because people don’t just need winning words… they need a real encounter.
💡 Light hits different than arguments
📖 John 3:16–20 talks about Jesus as light coming into the world 🌍✨
And here’s the wild part:
People don’t reject Him because they “lack info”…
Sometimes they reject Him because they prefer darkness over light 😬
That’s not about IQ—it’s about the heart.
👑 “Almost persuaded” energy
When Paul shared the gospel in front of King Agrippa in Acts 26, Agrippa basically said:
“Do you think you can persuade me in such a short time?”
Paul wasn’t arguing for a win—he was witnessing truth.
And Agrippa’s response feels like so many people today:
“Almost… but not yet.” 😶
⚖️ Even Pilate asked the question
In John 18, Pilate literally stands in front of Jesus and asks:
“What is truth?” 🤔
And still walks away from the answer standing right in front of him.
Sometimes truth isn’t missing… it’s just being ignored.
🧠 real talk takeaway
You can explain Jesus.
You can defend your faith.
You can answer questions.
But you can’t force someone’s heart to open.
Only God does that 🌱✨
So don’t turn faith into a debate flex.
Be bold. Be loving. Be real.
And let God do what only He can do 💛🔥
