Revelation 5 opens and it’s immediately stressful π
There’s a scroll π in God’s hand ✋—sealed up tight π. This scroll represents God’s plan for the future, justice, healing, all of it. And guess what?
No one can open it.
Not angels π
Not kings π
Not influencers, leaders, or “good people” π
♂️
John starts crying π’ because if the scroll stays closed, then evil wins and hope stalls.
Honestly… relatable.
π The world feels broken
π People are hurting
π€·♀️ Systems fail
π Prayers feel unanswered
Then—plot twist π₯
An elder says, “Stop crying.”
There is someone worthy.
The Lion of Judah π¦π₯
Strong. Powerful. Victorious.
But when John looks… he doesn’t see a lion.
He sees a Lamb π
Slain π
But standing πͺ
This is peak Revelation energy.
Jesus wins not by force ⚔️
But by sacrifice ✝️
Not by domination
But by love ❤️
Greg Laurie-style teaching always zooms in here:
The whole Bible points to Jesus, and Revelation 5 proves it.
The Lamb steps forward π➡️π
Takes the scroll
And heaven absolutely loses it πΆππ₯
Worship explodes π₯
Angels sing π€π
Elders fall down π♂️
All creation joins in π✨
Why?
Because Jesus is worthy π
Worthy because He was slain ✝️
Worthy because He redeemed people from every nation ππ€
Worthy because He turned pain into purpose π
And here’s the comfort level-up ⬆️
π History isn’t random
π The future isn’t chaotic
π Heaven is not stressed
The Lamb is in control ππ
So when life feels overwhelming π΅π«
When the news is loud π’
When your heart feels tired π
Revelation 5 whispers (okay, sings πΆ):
Jesus holds the scroll.
Jesus holds the future.
Jesus holds you π€✋
No fear.
No panic.
Just worship π✨
