๐ฟ Palm Sunday – The Triumphal Entry
Verse: “Hosanna! Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord!” – Mark 11:9
Reflection:
Jesus enters Jerusalem not as a warrior king, but as the Prince of Peace, riding on a donkey. The crowds wave palm branches and shout praises, but within days their cries will change.
Devotional Thought:
Let today be a reminder that our worship should not be conditional. Will we praise Him when the road turns rocky?
๐️ Holy Monday – Cleansing the Temple
Verse: “My house shall be called a house of prayer, but you make it a den of robbers.” – Matthew 21:13
Reflection:
Jesus confronts corruption in the temple, flipping tables in righteous anger. He defends the sanctity of God’s house.
Devotional Thought:
What tables in our hearts need turning over? Are there areas of compromise that keep us from being a “house of prayer”?
๐พ Holy Tuesday – Teaching and Challenging
Verse: “Render to Caesar the things that are Caesar’s, and to God the things that are God’s.” – Mark 12:17
Reflection:
Jesus spends the day teaching in the temple and confronting religious leaders. His authority is challenged, but His wisdom silences them.
Devotional Thought:
Jesus invites us to live with integrity—giving to God what is God's. Does He have our full devotion?
๐ฎ Holy Wednesday – A Quiet Betrayal
Verse: “Then one of the Twelve—the one called Judas Iscariot—went to the chief priests…” – Matthew 26:14
Reflection:
While Jesus likely continued teaching and resting in Bethany, Judas makes a deal to betray Him. It’s a day of silence and shadows.
Devotional Thought:
Are we walking in secret faithfulness or secret betrayal? Do we stay close to Jesus only when it benefits us?
๐ท Maundy Thursday – The Last Supper
Verse: “A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another: just as I have loved you.” – John 13:34
Reflection:
Jesus shares a final meal, washes His disciples’ feet, and teaches them the way of love and humility. He institutes communion and prays in Gethsemane.
Devotional Thought:
Tonight, Jesus shows us that leadership is service, and love is sacrifice. Will we follow His example?
✝️ Good Friday – The Crucifixion
Verse: “It is finished.” – John 19:30
Reflection:
The Son of God is crucified. Darkness falls. The curtain in the temple tears. The perfect sacrifice is complete.
Devotional Thought:
This is the darkest day, yet the beginning of the greatest hope. His death was not defeat—it was love poured out. Do we live like we are truly forgiven?
๐ฏ️ Holy Saturday – Waiting in the Silence
Verse: “They laid Jesus there.” – John 19:42
Reflection:
The tomb is sealed. The disciples are scattered and grieving. It seems like all hope is lost. But God is not finished.
Devotional Thought:
When life feels silent, God is still at work. Will we trust Him in the waiting?
๐ Resurrection Sunday – He Is Risen!
Verse: “He is not here; He has risen, just as He said.” – Matthew 28:6
Reflection:
The grave is empty! Jesus has conquered death. Hope is alive. The stone was rolled away not so He could get out—but so we could see in.
Devotional Thought:
This is the day that changes everything. Do we live like resurrection people—full of hope, power, and joy?
