The followers of Jesus have a new heart when they accept Jesus in their lives. When God lives in a person heart then there is a spirit of truth. They are desire to have a pure life. It is sad when a person forget about God and follow sin. They need to repent and follow Jesus.
There is a different life for the person that reject Jesus. They will not want the truth and they can't live a pure life because the sins of their lives will control them. The person needs to repent from their sins and accept the cross of Jesus. When that happens, then the person can have a new heart.
