Our actions

People like to think this thought. Many people believe that their actions do not harm other people. This is a lie. This lie creates a false peace in their hearts.
Abraham's nephew drunk too much wine and had sex with his daughters. The offspring of this sin caused many problems for Israel.
There came to countries from the children. One country was Moab. This country caused many problems. The other people group was Ammonites. The sins of the three people caused many issues.
Our sins caused division between us and God. God is a just God.
Our sins cause a weak moral character. A person will become a liar and murder.
Our sins cause disorder in the culture that we live in.
A person needs to remember our actions will cause problems, if we don't do what is right.
We need to have a clean heart. Jesus died on the cross and conquered death.
If a person repents from their sins and follow Jesus. Then that person will have a new heart.

 

Genesis 19:36-38

 

³⁶ So both of Lot’s daughters became pregnant by their father. ³⁷ The older daughter had a son, and she named him Moab; he is the father of the Moabites of today. ³⁸ The younger daughter also had a son, and she named him Ben-Ammi; he is the father of the Ammonites of today.
