The builder of the soul

Abram trusted God. He transferred his house to another place. The new location was far away but Abram was a man of faith.
Abram was at Shechem and the Lord appeared to him. So he built and altar for the Lord.
We need to trust in the Lord. When the Lord speaks to us; then we need to stop and listen.
God revealed the Lord that Abram's future land. Then Abram went to the place that God wanted him at.
We need to do what the Lord wants and understand that God is smart.
Abram went to the hills east of Bethel. He put his tent Bethel on the west and Ai on the east.
He built on altar and called on the Lord. This is a great example for everyone.
We need to have a good prayer life. We need to surrender our will to the Lord. We don't know many things so we need to depend on the Lord.

Genesis 12:6-9

Abram traveled through the land as far as the site of the great tree of Moreh at Shechem. At that time the Canaanites were in the land. The Lord appeared to Abram and said, “To your offspring[a] I will give this land. So he built an altar there to the Lord, who had appeared to him.
From there he went on toward the hills east of Bethel and pitched his tent, with Bethel on the west and Ai on the east. There he built an altar to the Lord and called on the name of the Lord.
Then Abram set out and continued toward the Negev.
