1) The process for creation and evolution is different.
2) The order of events is different
3) The cause and reason for physical death is different
4) The Genesis Flood was worldwide implying a young earth
5) The days of creation were literal days, the earth is young
6) God created all life; it did not evolve
7) Jesus, through whom all things were created, stated that we should believe in his creation
We cannot combine evolution with the Bible because the two are complete opposites. Neither can we accept any form of compromise that attempts to combine tenants of evolution, such as long ages into Biblical interpretaion.
We need to be strong in our beliefs and faith in God. We should not compromise the Bible for the approval of mankind. Telling the truth is not easy. The Bible is often offensive. Christ is a stumbling block to many people.
Romans 9:33
As it is written:
“See, I lay in Zion a stone that causes people to stumble
