There will be a flood

Is it possible to combine the Bible and evolution? Did God use evolution as part of His creative process? People who believe in evolution relegate the Genesis Flood to be either a myth or a local are flood. People who accept long ages for the earth are also accepting the Genesis Flood was either a myth or a local flood and not a worldwide flood. You need to ask this question. Why can't we believe in a worldwide wide Flood and still believe in long ages? A person discover the answer in the fossil record.

Evolutionists use the fossil record as an index to determine the many long geologic ages. The evolutionist says, "Through worldwide correlation those nineteenth-century geologists assembled a geologic column, which is a composite columnar section containing in chronological order the succession of known strata, fitted together on the basis of their fossils or other evidence of relative age.

The evolutionist claims this. If they found a trilobite fossil. We would know that the sediment is Five hundred and fifty million years old because that when evolutionists believe these creatures lived, died and were buried. If we found a Tyrannosaurs Rex fossil, we would know that the sediment is seventy million years old. The evolution believe this because they believe these creatures lived, died and were buried.

The concept is that different geologic ages are determined by the type of fossils found in the sediments. However, if thee was a worldwide Flood, when would most all of these fossils have been buried? The answer is, they would have been buried at the same time. Therefore, the fossils cannot be used as an index into the strata to determine different geologic ages because they would be one specific time. This means that if there was a worldwide Flood, the earth is not millions or billions of years old. It brings a understanding to this. If the earth is old then the Genesis Flood was not a worldwide flood but rather a regional flood. How do we understand which is true? We start with the Bible.
