He want the money

Money speaks to the human heart. Many times people will do dishonest things for money. The movies seems to promote this idea that there is no dishonest money.  The truth doesn't matter in this world.
The Lord sees everything and He hates dishonest money. It has always been a problem so it is not a new idea.
Similar denunciation is found the the mosaic law and the prophets. The Old Testaments explains accurate weights. Silver was weighed on scales balanced against a stone weight. Weights with dishonest promoted dishonest gain on the scale.

Leviticus 19:35

 “‘Do not use dishonest standards when measuring length, weight or quantity.

 

 

Amos 8:5

 saying,

“When will the New Moon be over
    that we may sell grain,
and the Sabbath be ended
    that we may market wheat?”—
skimping on the measure,
    boosting the price
    and cheating with dishonest scales,

Micah 6:11

 Shall I acquit someone with dishonest scales,
    with a bag of false weights?

 

We need a honest heart that honors God. We need to have honor in our lives. Our ways should please God and not the sinful nature. If a person have not accepted Jesus then they are controlled by the sinful nature. They can't please the Lord because our sins separates us from God. One sin leads to hell. If a person repent from their sin and then follow Jesus. Then the person will have a new heart that desires the accurate weights on the scale. 

If a person follow Jesus then the Holy Spirit will guide the believer. The believer needs to claim the victory. 

Proverbs 11:1

 The Lord detests dishonest scales,
    but accurate weights find favor with him.
